Happy Birthday, Bill Clinton!
The former President of the United States is celebrating today. Hope you’re having fun, Bill! I met him once several years ago at a book signing. He was very nice to me.
Recently, Bill was in Texas with former President George W. Bush and posed with the two statues of George W. and his daddy, George H. W. Bush.
Sad that now it’s been 40 years since Elvis Presley passed away. He is still missed after all this time. It was a very tragic day in 1977. I was watching a rerun of The Monkees when the broadcast was interrupted by a news anchorman reporting the bad news about Elvis.
Happy 84th Birthday, Julie Newmar!
Today is Julie’s 84 birthday! Her most recognizable role is that of Catwoman on the 1966 series, Batman. Hope your meowing at your gifts, Julie!
Julie also guest-starred on Star Trek.
Julie shows off her piano playing on My Living Doll, a TV series that she did with Bob Cummings.
Last but not lease, Julie made a guest appearance on The Monkees.
I am glad to be on vacation. Once again, I have journeyed up to Old Orchard Beach, Maine, to get some relaxation. Not a moment too soon! I was hoping to write in this blog last week, but I was so preoccupied with other things.
On the bright side, I went to see Earth, Wind, & Fire with Chic featuring Nile Rodgers at the Boston Garden last Saturday night. I loved it because it was the second time I have seen Earth, Wind, & Fire and the very first time I have seen Chic. Great music.
I drove up to Maine using my new Mustang that I got last Fall. It did well going beyond 70 mile speed limit on the Maine Turnpike! Glad that no cop pulled me over for going at 80!!!
Time for some relaxation now.
It was 50 years ago today when Light My Fire by The Doors hit the #1 spot on the music chart in 1967! Time to celebrate!
Happy Birthday, Mick Jagger!
The lead singer of the Rolling Stones is celebrating his 74th today! Hope you get a lot of satisfaction on this day, Mick!
It seems that, instead of another Fantastic Four Movie, 20th Century Fox is going to try a stand alone movie featuring their archenemy, Dr. Doom. Legion showrunner Noah Hawley revealed this at the San Diego Comic Con last Thursday.

Here’s a YouTube video explaining the origin of Doctor Doom. It sounds like a good movie.
