As we all know, Eric was in many bands before he went solo. His most memorable band was Cream with Ginger Baker and the late Jack Bruce.

Happy Belated Birthday, John Astin (A), Warren Beatty (B), and Eric Clapton (C)!

All three them have a birthday on March 30.

John Astin, actor who starred in The Addams Family and I’m Dickens He’s Fenster, celebrated his 86th birthday yesterday. He once played the Riddler on Batman substituting for Frank Gorshin. Also, he was once married to the late Patty Duke. He is currently teaching drama at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.


Warren Beatty, actor and director of movies (Bugsy, Reds, Dick Tracy, and Shampoo, etc.), celebrated his 79th birthday yesterday. He is husband to Annette Benning and brother to Shirley MacLaine. He also Milton Armitage on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.

Eric Clapton, guitarist who was with the Yardbirds, Cream, and Derek and the Dominos) celebrated his 71st birthday yesterday. He’s currently working on his 23rd studio album. He was at one time married to Beatle George Harrison’s ex-wife Pattie Boyd.

The guitar great is celebrating his 70th. I heard that he’s going to do a couple of concerts in Madison Square Garden in New York to mark the occasion.

One of the best guitarists in rock history is celebrating his birthday this weekend. Many Happy Returns, Slow Hand! Eric was in so many bands before he went solo that it’s hard to remember how many he was in. To name a few: Yardbirds, Cream, Delany and Bonnie, and Derek and the Dominoes.
