I’ve been sick this week. My throat got very sore late Tuesday night and got worse by Wednesday evening. I had to go out and buy some cough syrup at a nearby Stop & Shop store. I had a hard time at the self-checkout line because the automated cash register said that I had to show my ID to a cashier because the medicine is a drug that can’t be sold to minors. I told the store manager that I looked old, but he said that I look very young. I showed my driver’s license to him and told him that I was born on December 17, 1964. He had a hard time believing me!
It was just a few weeks ago that I had the flu during Thanksgiving week. Not feeling well keeps me away from my blogging which I don’t like because I am a very talented writer who has Asperger’s Syndrome. Hell, I’ve been writing for years before I found out that I have Asperger’s. I still wonder why no one will hire me for my excellent writing talent.
I guess people can’t see talent when it’s sitting in front of them.
Throat is feeling better, but I am still coughing. My head is congested. I sneezed so hard this evening that I had to change sweatshirts.
