A blogger for the Telegraph speculates about Former President Nixon having Asperger’s Syndrome. He mentions a scene in the Ron Howard movie, Frost/Nixon, about Nixon going on a tangent about David Frost’s choice of shoes. Nixon described them as effeminate.
Ellin Stein, the blogger, then recalls a school trip to Manhattan when Nixon had an office in that city back in the mid-1960s. Nixon had a collection of gavels and spoke to his group about Asian women during most of the visit.
I doubt that Nixon had Asperger’s. I can’t even imagine it. I did see Frost/Nixon and didn’t have that sense that he has that. It’s a good movie. I hope Frank Langella who plays Nixon in the movie wins the Best Actor Oscar.
