Actor Peter Breck of the 1960s western series The Big Valley has died in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he’s lived since the 1980s. He was 82 years old. He co-starred with Barbara Stanwyck, Lee Majors, Linda Evans, and Richard Long on that show. I grew up watching the reruns of that show during the 1970s. Peter played Nick Barkley, son to Barbara Stanwyck’s character Victoria Barkley. Peter passed away on February 6.
Peter was a native of Haverhil, Massachusetts. He was discovered by actor Robert Mitchum while doing a play in Washington, DC.
